Our idea was to make a one-size-fits-all type of clothing with a new kind of comfort by sewing woven fabric and knitted material together.The result was not just a collage; by using a method called needle-punch, we were able to create a finish that made the two differing materials blend naturally for a perfect look. This is just the first in our Weave & Knit line, and we’re looking forward to showing you more of our original creations over the next three seasons.
自由な発想で服作りを行うスタジオで経験を積んだのち、 2004 年に「TENNE HANDCRAFTED MODERN」をスタート。 立体裁断、裁縫、編物、染色、フィッティングといった 服作りにおけるすべてのプロセスを自らの手で実践的に行い、 インディペンデントな服作りをする。
動きやすさや肌触りのよさといった機能性、 手編みやハンドステッチなどのクラフト的要素を融合させながら、 いままでのやり方にとらわれないアプローチでミニマルに表現。 現代的な女性のライフスタイルに寄り添う、 遊び心のある洗練された洋服を提案します。

「 布 帛 」と「 ニ ッ ト 」と い う 異 素 材 の 組 み 合 わ せ を コンセプトに服作りを展開。ニードルパンチを用いることで、 異素材が滑らかにつながっているように見える新しさや 身につけたときの美しさを追求。 このテーマは今後 3 シーズンをかけて深めていく予定。
